Ben is 13 months old and one tough cookie! Just check out his first picture to see his “tough man” face.   He and his parents came out this weekend for an early morning session … and it was only in the low 40’s here!  Brr!  All I can say is, it was worth it!  The fall colors are peaking here in northern NJ and there is just something about morning light that I love…

I had my first engagement session last weekend… so much fun!  As much as I love photographing babies and children, I have to admit… it’s nice to photograph someone who actually listens to you when you give direction!  Avis and Artie were such good sports to put up with all of the “Hold that pose!” and “Don’t move yet!” directions that I gave. And I have to say, Avis did a wonderful job picking out the location!

This handsome little guy is my son’s best friend.  But just because he knows me did not make it any easier to photograph him!  Like any other 18 month old out there, he refused to sit still or look at the camera. It took some rather interesting antics from his mom and myself to get a few looks and smiles, but it is always worth making a fool of yourself publicly when you capture moments like these!
